Gexel Telecom is expanding and is on its way to becoming the leader among Customer Contact Centre providers. Since it opened its doors in 1998, Gexel has experienced a strong and sustained growth.
How would you like to join a call center that has a qualified and professional management team who is there to help and listen to their employees? Gexel Telecom currently operates 3 sites in Quebec to effectively meet our customers’ needs. At the moment, we have a staff of over 650 carefully recruited agents.
In the heart of Old Montreal, about 2 minutes away from the Place d’Armes subway station, Gexel is seeking to hire hard working and motivated individuals that have a passion for technical support.
Your responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls
- Recogise and resolve technical issues
- Identify the customer’s needs
- Promote various products and services
- Act as a consultant to our clients
We offer:
- Base salary of 14$/hour

- A permanent, full-time job (40 hours/week)

We are looking for candidates that have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Experience in customer service (asset)
- Excellent computer skills
- Great communication skills
- Expertise with the following protocols: TCP/IP, architectural network. DOS and Apple Talk
Schedule:
Our center is open Monday to Sunday (7 days) from 7:00am to midnight. In order for us to respond to our clients needs, the candidates we are looking for must be ready to work according to various schedules within these operating hours.
